About Us

FinBlade is an independent mobile developer located in the South of England. The studio has an extraordinary track record, beginning life as IOMO back in 2000 doing WAP games for Nokia. From those early beginnings, the team grew to produce some of the most successful and well-known Java titles on mobile.

In 2004, the studio was acquired by InfoSpace Inc. as a key part of their mobile game strategy. This led to further expansion of the team, and brought the studio into a truly global marketplace. When InfoSpace made the decision to exit the mobile content market in 2007, the studio was taken over by its staff, and renamed FinBlade.

Now, with over a decade of experience, creating award-winning content for thousands of different handsets, across numerous languages and territories, FinBlade’s output is split between contract work for third parties, and original IP creation.
